Virtual Events 101
With the global pandemic of 2020, organizations all around the world had to shift their event strategies, sometimes outright canceling, resulting in millions of lost revenue. But, as they say in the events industry, “the show must go on.” In order to adapt to the ongoing crisis, virtual events emerged as a viable stand-in for live, in-person events.
While some argued virtual events were a poor substitute, more and more event planners were able to breathe new life into events, implementing fresh ideas and new technologies to create a fun, collaborative environment for attendees that was just as effective as – and maybe even more efficient than – live events.
As we gear up for 2021, virtual events – or a hybrid of virtual and in-person – will continue to make up the events landscape. If your organization canceled all events in 2020 and is looking to generate revenue by implementing virtual events in 2021, this webinar is for you.

- The difference between virtual event formats
- Team roles and skillsets needed
- How to attract and engage attendees
